Collaborating With Kuami Eugene Was A Beautiful Coincidence— Emelia Brobbey
Emelia Brobbey has disclosed how she met Lynx Entertainment Signee, Kuami Eugene and how the collaboration came to be.
According to the actress cum singer, it was a beautiful coincidence and she is ever so glad.
“I will say that featuring Kuami Eugene on my song makoma was a beautiful coincidence. Since I’m speaking in Cape Coast I have to blend my English with a bit of Fante.”
Adding, she said they met at the National Theatre and Eugene applauded her on her debut song Fa Me Ko and asked if they could remix it.
“We met at the National Theatre in 2019 and by then I had released Fa me kor which made a lot of people to hurl insults at me. So Kuami Eugene said Emelia let’s do a remix of Fa me kor because I don’t see anything wrong with the song.“
She confirmed that had to tell him Prince had already suggested that so they made a new song altogether.
“But I told him that Prince Bright wanted to do the Fa me kor remix so why don’t we rather do another song instead so that’s what brought my song makoma,”
